Miss Sophie

Sophie has been part of Ambition since 2016 but has been dancing since the age of 2 years old. Sophie's training originally started with Ballet, tap and modern, progressing into the Disco Freestyle world aged 10. She instantly fell in love with competing and worked incredibly hard to achieve Championship status as a competitor.

Having won many championship titles, Sophie retired from competitions aged 19 to pursue a career in primary school teaching. Sophie has achieved a BA Hons Applied Education Studies Degree as well as having 7 years experience working in schools as a Senior Teaching assistant and sports coach. Sophie now works as a CAMHs Practitioner supporting children with their well-being.

Sophie leads our Competitive Crystal Class as well as accompanying our dancers to competitions, fetes and shows. Sophie's friendly nature and enthusiastic approach to teaching make her a perfect addition to the teaching team and we are so excited for her future with Ambition.
